Growing native plants and trees from seed is one of our main goals. Native seeds and plants are important host plants in our community and personal green spaces. Native plants are important host plants for our local pollinators. For example, milkweed is the only plant a Monarch will lay her eggs on! Supporting an eco-friendly environment, enjoying nature and promoting a viable habitat for our pollinators is a key goal for us.

Keep an eye out on our Events page, as well as social media for days we have seed exchanges or plant sales! We also have an annual summer compost day and many community events we are excited to share!

We are settlers on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabek, Haudenosaunee, Lūnaapéewak  and Attawandaron Peoples, Treaty 21 territory, currently known as Middlesex Centre, Ontario, Canada. The First Nations people, Innuit and Métis have stewarded these lands and waters since time immemorial. They continue to do so today, facing generations of violent assimilation and erasure. To reconcile our relationship and restore harmony, we acknowledge the harms caused by colonialism and commit to listen to, honour, and integrate Indigenous wisdom, history and values into our pollinator habitat work.
